This spring, the GOTEK-Center in Novomoskovsk (Tula region) replaced a Mosca MCB-2 wrapper that had served for more than 10 years, which was behind the Martin 618 line, with a fresh machine of the same model. Inline productivity increased by 3-5 thousand sq. m. m for a 12-hour work shift.

— Sergey Vasilyevich, why MCB-2 again?

“Firstly, we adhere to universalization — our company also uses Mosca strappers with other lines,” says Sergey Vedeshkin, Production Director of the GOTEK Center. – Secondly, the characteristics – the number of packs per minute that this machine can tie. Its productivity is enough to keep up with a high-speed processing line.
The old Mosca MCB-2 wrapper worked great for more than 10 years, but recently it has become tired and becomes a bottleneck in the production process. Replacing it, in addition to an increase in productivity by 5 thousand square meters. m per shift, we have increased the reliability of the line and eliminated the risk of a long emergency shutdown.

— GOTEK-Center has been familiar with Mosca strappers for a long time, — says Alexander Mangushev, GT conveyors (Gofro-Technologies LLC, GT Group, St. Petersburg). “The MCB-2 has worked flawlessly in the company for many years, solving all the tasks set, so when the need arose for a new wrapper, they again chose a proven model.
MCB-2 fully automates the step that follows the production of containers and precedes transportation to storage. The machine is completely free of pneumatic components and does not require the installation of a compressor, dehumidification and air conditioning, which greatly increases overall reliability and reduces operating costs.
All drive elements are electrical, which simplifies maintenance. The line is assembled on Dunker servo drives (Germany) and allows tying up to 25 packs per minute with simultaneous alignment and clamping.
