Automation at JSC Gotek Center
JSC Gotek Center (Novomoskovsk) put into operation: peripheral equipment for supplying material and unloading finished products (manufactured by WSA, South Korea), as well as a strapping line UATRI-2XT/1300 (manufactured by MOSCA , Germany).
Specialists of Gotek Center JSC under the leadership of Sergey Vedeshkin, Production Director of Gotek Center JSC, have been considering equipment from different manufacturers for a long time, but none of them fit the criteria: compact and high-performance, except for the machines of WSA and MOSCA companies. Delivery and commissioning of the lines at the plant in Novomoskovsk was carried out by the official representative of the WSA and MOSCA plants in Russia and the CIS – GT conveyors (GK GT GROUP, St. Petersburg).
New WSA peripherals at Gotek Center include:
- top-printed pre-feeder (compact) – format 2500×1200 mm;
robot palletizer – format 1600×1600 mm;
a conveyor line for feeding blanks, consisting of driven plastic and roller conveyors, a bale leveling device, a bale loading station with a forklift;
conveyor with modular flexible plastic belt for transferring packs from the printing machine to the strapping machine.
The prefeeder-compact WSA with top feed has a format of 2500×1200 mm. The speed of its work is up to 450 blanks per minute. The system automatically divides the stack of bales into one stack, flips the workpiece and distributes it evenly in the form of a cascade due to the difference in the speed of the belts, then removes the bottom sheet.
The robot palletizer WSA has a format of 1600×1600 mm and operates at a speed of 4.5 cycles per minute. To speed up palletizing, a stack doubling device is used. Layer formation is performed by a servo-driven turntable, a variety of palletizing patterns are available: from a single to a nine-place pattern, then the robot transfers the formed layer to a pallet in a bale, additionally leveling the bale from 4 sides. It is possible to lay the overlay and bottom sheets.
The compact yet high-performance WSA equipment perfectly coped with the task that the Gotech Center faced – a limited space for installing peripherals. At the same time, the robot palletizer made a worthy pair of the high-speed EMBA line.
Strapping line UATRI-2XT/1300 (produced by MOSCA, Germany) is fully automated, it is installed with processing lines equipped with folder-gluing units. Has two binding heads, has a capacity of up to 30 packs per minute (with top clamp); throughput width: 1300mm. The machine is equipped with the option of automatic soldering of the tape of the second reel, after the end of the tape on the first one. Adjustment to order occurs automatically on a signal from the processing line.
