High speed cross belt conveyors

Description

In this grading machine, each conveying element carries a section of a 0.6 – 0.9 m long conveyor belt, which is driven by a small electric motor and is located at an angle of 90 degrees.
When the load reaches the pickup point, the electric motor drives the section and the load moves from the main conveyor to the chute or to the side discharge conveyor.
A very high sorting speed is achieved – over 670 units/min.
It is possible to organize multiple pick-up points, along a closed route or sequentially.
Machines with transverse belt conveyors-pullers perform sorting more reliably and more accurately than others. their working bodies are driven by electric motors, and not under the influence of gravity.
Thanks to this design, they work faster, and the removal points can be located closer to each other.
The tilt tray sorter requires more clearance between pickup points than a cross conveyor sorter, but it has fewer moving parts and is therefore cheaper and easier to maintain.
